Random items are a fairly new gaming element, certainly getting more attention now than ever before, this post is an attempt to bring clarity to the confusion about these items.
First off there are 3 Qualities of Random items.
Green, Light blue, and Purple.
These colors are only displayed when items are seen on the ground.
Green, contain a Prefix or Suffix:
a pendant of sight
a vicious force shield
Light blue, contain a prefix AND suffix:
a Vicious Pendant of Sight
a Brilliant Award of the Sky
Purple, the best random, picks an article, and 3 random effects, with a max of 1 Suffix:

Rial's Golden Slippers
